As far as systems trying to emulate an existing IP go, this is the first one I've played which succeeds so strongly in replicating the feel of the stories it is inspired by. The break bar mechanic makes any confrontation more dynamic and exciting, and provides an easy tool for the GM to manage tension to their liking.

It works so well that I've already played it outside of its intended use, and it worked just as well. This is just a really fun game to run and play, I'm glad I found out about it!

Really solid system which cuts through the complexities of Fate's source material in order to create a widely-applicable ruleset. Due to how the system is based around tension and momentum, it's really refreshing to not have to crunch numbers any time you want to take any action. Most importantly, it's just customizable as shit, you don't even have to use it for Fate as a property.

Fate/Last Chance has been a fantastic way to explore the countless possibilities of the Fate universe's frameworks! I've really enjoyed fleshing out original servant characters and putting their abilities to the test, and the flexibility of the Break Bar system does a great job of making conflict exciting and varied.

Awesome system! Had a ton of fun playing this and am excited to try out the new balance changes next time
